Supplemental Insurance
Peace of mind with a $1,000,000 supplemental insurance policy by becoming a member. This liability insurance activates after school based or other insurance. The insurance benefit provided to members in good standing of the SHAPEWV program, in the amount of $1,000,000, is an excess benefit that provides an extra layer of coverage above and beyond your school employers coverage. If a member requires a certificate of insurance (showing proof of insurance or naming an additional insured) they must report their activity and request the COI from their member association.” Check out the membership options below. There is no extra cost to you. This liability insurance even covers you when teaching outside of the school environment, such as, giving swimming lessons, training 1st aid/CPR, supervising a skiing group, coaching, leading a conference session, etc!
